Terms of use.

The short version: use Proffer to schedule meetings, not to spam people. Pay for the tier you use. Cancel any time. We'll do our best to keep the service reliable; if it goes down, we'll tell you. The longer version is below.

Your account

You're responsible for the activity that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials private. If you think someone else has access, sign out and let us know.

Acceptable use

Proffer is for scheduling meetings with people you have a reason to meet. Don't use it to send unsolicited bulk email. Don't use it to harass anyone. Don't try to break the service or circumvent its limits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules; we'll tell you why when we do.

Payment and cancellation

Paid tiers renew on the schedule you chose (monthly or annual) until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and your tier returns to Free. Lifetime purchases are non-refundable after seven days and are limited to the first 500 seats.

We may change pricing for future renewals with 30 days' notice. We won't change pricing on a Lifetime tier you've already paid for.

The service we provide

Proffer is a hosted service. We work to keep it available, but we don't promise 100% uptime and we aren't responsible for downstream consequences of outages — including missed meetings. Calendar data flows through Microsoft Graph; service interruptions on their side can affect ours.

Your content

The personal notes, Proffer titles, and recipient lists you create are yours. We hold a limited license to display, store, and transmit them solely to provide the service. We don't claim ownership.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we'll do so in writing.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Proffer's liability for any claim is limited to what you've paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose. If you haven't paid, we aren't liable for monetary damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia.
